From the Outside In - Mini Series: From the Inside Out #4

Maybe your bathroom shelf looks a little like a small pharmacy. Ashwagandha. Magnesium. Vitamin D. A probiotic. Something with adaptogens that promises to fix your stress.

This episode is not here to shame anyone's shelf. Some supplementation makes genuine sense. But there's a layer of what we're often reaching for that no capsule can build.

What this episode is about

I share about a supplement protocol I followed about 12 years ago, around ten pills a day and the gagging response my body had to it that I didn't yet have language for.

From there, the episode explores what the wellness industry doesn't always tell you. What Ayurveda understands about agni, and why even a beautifully sourced supplement may not be absorbed well by an overwhelmed system. And the difference between tending to the body and managing it - a distinction that runs through this whole mini-series.

I also talk about what traditional systems understood about taking herbs with intention, and what's been lost as that became something more transactional.

Who this episode is for

If your shelf is full and you still feel roughly the same... this one is for you.

It's the fourth episode in the mini-series From the Inside Out - on the body, the nervous system, and what creates lasting change.
