Embodied Ashtanga Workshop 1: Root & Rise: Cultivating Inner Stability and Lift
18 April, 8-14.00h, in Groningen
A full workshop exploring stability and lift from within. The early morning practice focuses on mula bandha and uddiyana bandha to cultivate grounding, lift, and deeper awareness in your practice. In the late morning session, we explore energy, subtle anatomy, and guiding principles through philosophy, hands-on exploration, and practical application. Individually or as a package.
Embodied Ashtanga Workshop 2: Breath & Rhythm: Deepening Awareness
5 September, 8-14.00h, in Groningen
A full workshop exploring breath, rhythm, and the subtle body. The morning practice focuses on the subtleties of breath and the five vayus in a workshop style Ashtanga practice, cultivating clarity, steadiness, and ease in practice - physically, energetically, and mentally. In the late morning session, we deepen integration through philosophy, hands-on exploration, and asana lab.
Embodied Ashtanga Workshop 3: Integrating Opposites in Practice and Real Life
24 October, 8-14.00h, in Groningen
Explore how to bring balance, steadiness, and ease into your practice and life. This workshop combines guided kriya, pranayama, Ashtanga practice, and hands-on exploration of philosophy, breath, and subtle energy. Learn to harmonize opposing forces, refine your awareness, and cultivate stability, flow, and presence - on and off the mat. Prana and apana in practice.
Embodied Ashtanga Workshop 4: Rhythm & Focus: Vinyasa as a Foundation
21 November, 8-14.00h, in Groningen
A full workshop exploring mindful transitions and rhythm in practice. The morning practice session focuses on bringing intention, clarity, and steadiness to each movement, using the vinyasa count as a tool (not dogma) to integrate breath, movement, and presence. In the late morning session, we deepen understanding through philosophy, hands-on exploration, and asana lab.
